Children’s Creative Birthday Party: Bracelet Making

April 13, 2011

For Wally’s 10th birthday she wanted her friends, family, and something artsy… she got just that!  Her friends and her enjoyed fun in the sun in beautiful South Florida weather.  We couldn’t have asked for better weather.  Once the girls got their energy out- AJ Designs came.  I set up a beading station in the pool area.  Started with laying out a blanket, circled around with beading mats for Wally and her friends, and centered the area with beads, beads, and more beads.  Prior to the party, Wally had one request- PURPLE BEADS.  There was an adequate supply of all colors especially purple.  I taught the girls color theory, beading lingo, and showed examples.  After that, their creativity began.  The girls made their bracelets and loved showing them off.  It turned out to be a great party!

Girls anxiously waiting to for their friends to sit so we could get started.

Girls busy working on their bracelets.
