Broward County Photo Shoot: SUCCESS!

July 1, 2010

Last month I had a jewelry photo shoot.  I usually do 2 big shoots a year.  There were 6 models (including me), a makeup artist, 2 hair stylists, and a photographer.  It was a lot to manage but I was so happy with the end results.

Yanet

Kim Ruoff, the photographer, opened her studio for the shoot.  I have worked with her in the past and she has always produced great results.  The thing I love most about Kim is that she is fast (so we’re not shooting too long) and she’s down to earth.  So many times you might work with someone who wants things done their way… Kim is open minded when shooting, listens to the customer’s needs, and is fun on top of it!

When choosing the models, I always look for someone with a unique look.  I also want my models to look different from each other.  I used 4 new models this time: Yanet, Alice, Keri, and Alana. Cynthia is a model I have previously used that always photographs amazing.

I couldn’t have done the shoot without my stylists.  Angela S. and Lynzee created the hairstyles on each model.  They came with all of their tools and ready to work.  While Angela D. did an amazing job with the makeup.  I am such a girly-girl and LOVE makeup.  When I say Angela had a lot, it was an understatement.  I couldn’t believe how many colors she came with.  What a great job!

Keri

Thank you to all of you who helped make this photo shoot such a success!
